The Four Paintings in this gallery are part of a research project researching the impact that child abuse and trauma has on boys and men. This project also explores the possibilities for healing and recovery and the process a boy or a man may go through to reach a place of balance and a life that thrives. A written piece that accompanied the paintings was published in 'Self and Society Volume 27 No.4, September 1999' and a video exploration was produced at the same time.
